How Do We Work With You?

If you require a service to be provided by Aria Goldcare Ltd we will first need to carry out a visit, meet with you, your family and friends if you wish them to be present.

We find that it is extremely useful to have an advocate present to speak on your behalf and ensure the level of service provided is appropriate to meet your needs.  We respect our clients wishes at all times.

The assessment will be carried out by Mrs Inez Harvey, the registered manager and a senior carer.

The care plan will be totally individual and tailored to meet your requirements to ensure the following is achieved:

  • Finding the right carer for you that you can build a relationship with and who has the same interests as yourself. The carer will have the necessary NVQ qualifications or other  social care training to deliver the care that you need. All carers are criminal records bureau checked at an enhanced level to ensure they are trustworthy and are vetted in accordance with safeguarding vulnerable adults. All carers have had  a minimum of two references obtained and undertake continual professional development to maintain their level of skill. All carers carry photographic ID cards for the clients protection with the company name and logo.

  • Identifying your needs and implementing a care plan will be achieved with your input. We will require other information about you, your likes dislikes, contact details for emergency etc. This will be held by yourself and a copy maintained under the Data protection Act at Ariagoldcare either secured in a lockable filing cabinet or electronically and only accessed by password. Your confidentiality will be maintained at all times and personal information will not be shared unless informed consent is obtained from you or your power of attorney.

  • We will monitor your care very closely initially to ensure the plan is meeting your needs and the carer is the right person for you. This will be monitored closely and changes made if required.

  • The registered manager will visit frequently to ensure the level of care is maintained and will review regularly the service provision to you and that you are happy with the care provided.

    We recognize that people’s needs change and we need be flexible to those changing needs we will keep up to date with those changes by:

  • Registered manager and senior carer visit at least every 3 months

  • By telephone once a month

  • Risk assessment completed once every 6 months

  • Review of care plan if health ,social care needs or your own personal  aims change

    Aria Goldcare Ltd like to provide care to you in teams of two so that in the event of sickness or holidays there is continuity of care. In the event of your regular carer being unwell then provision will be made to extend the cover of the second carer.
    In the event of flu epidemic and a genuine shortage of staff, priority will be given to those clients with the greatest need and who have no other family or friends that can assist with care in the short term.
